One hour away from Johannesburg, on the banks of the Vaal River near Parys, Carryblaire River Retreat personifies peace, tranquillity and being with nature. Carryblaire has it's own natural island and as it is a registered bird sanctuary the views offered are beautiful.
Carryblaire offers catered accommodation that sleeps 18 people on a sharing basis. The rooms are not self catering but there are fridges and tea/coffee facilities. Every room is decorated in different African styles and are fitted with fans, with electric heaters and electric blankets with either King Size or two single beds and have en-suite bathrooms.
Catering is included in their rates with options of dinner and breakfast or just breakfast included. Meals consist of healthy and wholesome farm style cooking, served in the dining room at the main lodge with stunning views overlooking the river.
