Albizia House is a Bed and Breakfast establishment situated at 62 Arbuckle Street,Southern Drakensberg of KwaZulu Natal.
There are three comfortable en suite bedrooms each with tea and coffee making facilities and with their own entrance off a large patio, where young and old can sit and relax and enjoy the ambiance of the beautiful Drakensberg Mountains and a large peaceful garden. We are an accredited "Bird Friendly" establishment, have a resident registered tour guide who can assist you with any touring queries and are happy to make bookings for our customers. Email and internet are accessible together with DSTV in the main lounge.
Albizia House caters for the elderly with ramps onto the patio and grab handles where necessary. Our one bedroom is kitted out with a "walk in" shower. The Blue room is a family room with space for a cot or an extra bed for a child. Undercover parking for your vehicle is also available.
Albizia House offers a full English breakfast or a good selection for a continental breakfast. Breakfast can be served indoors or outdoors depending on the weather. Dinner requirements are catered for as we are located near to a few suitable restaurants.
Just over 2 hours from Durban or an hour from Howick (all on tarred roads), Albizia House is the perfect place to getaway. Whether you come in the crispy winter months with the chance of snow or the clear warm summer months there is plenty on offer to keep you busy.

4x4 trips up the beautiful Sani Pass - enjoy lunch, and a visit to a typical Basuto Village at the top of the Pass;
Hiking in the mountains - uKhahlamba Drakensberg World Heritage Site;
Visiting San Rock Art Sites;
