Waterfront Guesthouse B&B - Carolina
Situated in Carolina, central Mpumalanga, on the R33 from Middelburg / Wonderfontein / Belfast, Waterfront Guest House is a convenient overnight stop between Gauteng and Swaziland (103km), Kruger National Park (222km) and panoramic Mpumalanga (125km).
This luxurious guest house consists of 4 spacious rooms each with a private entrance, en-suite bathroom, satellite TV, coffee-making facility, fridge and secure parking. For the cold high-veld climate there are also wall-mounted heaters and electric blankets to keep you warm. A generator is there for your convenience in case of the unexpected power failures as well as a reservoir for times when there is problems with the water.
Each room has a private veranda with a splendid view of a dam hosting abundant birdlife. The rooms are suitably named after some of the beautiful birds found in the area and even on the premises!
The four rooms are:
Loerie - Two private rooms (Single and double) with private lounge
Jan-Groentjie - Double bed & Single bed with private lounge
Troupant - 2 single beds
Jan-Frederik - Single bed (an extra bed on request)
Total capacity: 10 adults (extra children can be accommodated)
Come relax in the delightful garden on one of many charming garden-chairs or simply take pleasure in the view and peacefulness from the dining room where breakfast can be enjoyed. Supper: In Carolina we have two restaurants: Coalers Pub & Restaurant (Steak House) and African Delight (Traditional meals) as well as Wimpy.
